I knit my 1st teddy bear for one of my students who needed a little snuggly friend. I used merino wool and stuffed the little bear with old yarn scraps! I also found a great book for young children who want to learn to knit. Loved the large photographs and the simplicity of the directions. My next venture, I think.....
I enjoy many things, one of which is knitting. I teach Kindergarten, live on an island with my wonderful family and enjoy being outside, working in my flower gardens and writing whenever I can. I enjoy learning new things and making connections with others. For me learning is inspired by ideas and a variety of experiences. I look forward to learning more about the craft of knitting and crocheting from others.

I am so excited about this new interface on blogger! I am hoping that I will be able to share more of what I am doing and keep myself organized!
